Classes for Children
As parents and grandparents, we hope our offspring learn to do
things the right way. But, we know that often the people they listen to
the least is us.
In a group
setting, where they are learning along with other young ladies and gentlemen
their own age, they pay attention. When they see others their own age using forks properly and saying, "Yes,
please" and "No, thank you"
it reinforces that it is okay for someone their age to use good manners.
It helps them understand that manners do not belong just to their "old
fogey" parents and grandparents.
 |
We divide our
students into two age groups, seven through twelve and thirteen through
seventeen.
We teach some classes on Saturdays, and some during weekday
evenings
|
We cover the same
topics in classes for each age group, but the material is presented differently
for each age group. We are aware that our more mature young ladies and
gentlemen have different needs than their younger counterparts.
